چکیده
Construction workplaces still report an unacceptable number of safety incidents every year. To tackle these disproportionate incident rates, training interventions are adopted widely in construction workplaces. Despite their adoption, poor performance continues to be a universal and global problem the industry. In fact, recent research has called into question effectiveness programs that commonly There is also evidence suggests interventions, many cases, do not yield tangible benefits may sometimes simply reduce wasted resources. Therefore, it important for industry stakeholders possess good understanding characteristics translate superior performance. Towards achieving this goal, present article concisely summarizes specific intervention elements, which when integrated programs, can outcomes. The objectives were achieved by performing review literature from diverse sources. findings demonstrate integrate visual cues guide hazard recognition, immersive experiences virtual environments, andragogical principles, personalization experiences, testing feedback, other elements improve will serve as resource professionals seek address weaknesses existing interventions. The Future of Designing for Construction Safety
Designing for Construction Safety (DfCS) is a process in which engineers and architects explicitly consider the safety of construction workers during the design process. Although the process has been required in the UK since 1995 and the initiative is gaining momentum in the U.S. on a voluntary basis, there has been little theory to date to predict or guide the evolution of DfCS. This paper sug...
